The OXVA XLIM 4 Pod Vape Kit is a compact refillable vape built for people who want an easy setup without giving up control over their draw. It has a 1600mAh built-in battery, up to 30W of power and three power levels, so there is no screen or complicated menu to work through. A small Ring Light shows useful information such as the selected power level and battery status.
OXVA pairs the device with its newer XLIM Top Fill Cartridge using UNITECH 3.0 technology. The UK kit comes with a 2ml 0.8Ω pod, which is a good fit for MTL vaping. You can also use other compatible XLIM pods if you prefer a tighter MTL inhale or a more open RDL draw.
The adjustable airflow slider lets you change the draw to suit your preference. With USB-C 5V/2A charging, a slim body and a larger battery than several earlier XLIM devices, the XLIM 4 is made to be straightforward enough for newer users while still offering the flexibility regular XLIM users expect.
The OXVA XLIM 4 is available in ten finishes, ranging from simple carbon and leather-style options to brighter nacre and aurora designs.
UNITECH 3.0 is OXVA's newer pod technology. It has been designed to improve wicking, reduce leaking and keep the flavour smooth as you use the pod.
OXVA says the new structure has a larger wicking area that can fully saturate the cartridge in around 30 seconds. There is also an enlarged condensate chamber that holds excess liquid more effectively, helping to keep the pod cleaner during normal use.
We would not describe any refillable pod as impossible to leak, but the changes made to UNITECH 3.0 are specifically designed to improve leak resistance.
Instead of putting a full wattage menu on the device, OXVA keeps things simple with three power levels: low, medium and high.
Double-click the button to move between the three settings. The Ring Light lets you see which setting you have selected without needing a display.
This gives you some control over how the vape feels while avoiding the extra settings found on more advanced XLIM models.
Inside the XLIM 4 is a 1600mAh rechargeable battery. It is built into the device, so there are no separate vape batteries to buy or replace.
Charging is handled through USB Type-C at 5V/2A. Battery use will vary depending on the pod resistance, selected power level and how often you vape. Lower-resistance pods and higher power settings will generally use more battery.
Rather than adding a full colour screen, the XLIM 4 uses a simple Ring Light.
It gives you a quick visual indication of the device's power setting and battery status. This keeps the front of the device clean and makes everyday operation easier for users who do not need a screen or detailed menus.
The OXVA XLIM 4 uses the XLIM Top Fill pod platform. This is particularly useful if you already own another compatible XLIM device because you may be able to continue using the same pod range.
The device supports pod resistances covering 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω, giving you choices for both MTL and RDL vaping. The UK kit itself comes with a 2ml 0.8Ω XLIM Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 pod pre-installed.
The right pod depends on whether you prefer a tight MTL draw or a more open RDL vape.

It can handle both MTL and RDL vaping.
For a cigarette-style, tighter inhale, use one of the higher-resistance pods and close the airflow down. If you prefer a looser inhale and more vapour, a lower-resistance pod with more airflow is the better option.
The vertical airflow control on the side of the device makes it easy to adjust the draw without changing menus.
For the higher-resistance MTL pods, 50/50 e-liquids and nic salts are the most practical choices. Their thinner consistency suits small refillable pod systems and works well at lower power.
Nicotine strength is a personal choice, so choose a strength that suits your existing nicotine use rather than simply selecting the strongest option.
For lower-resistance RDL pods such as the 0.4Ω option, lower-nicotine e-liquid is generally the more appropriate pairing because the pod produces more vapour per puff.
These two devices suit slightly different users rather than one simply replacing the other.

The XLIM 4 makes sense if you want a refillable pod kit that keeps the controls simple. You still get adjustable airflow and three power settings, but there is no large screen or menu to work through.
Its 1600mAh battery, familiar XLIM pod platform and support for both MTL and RDL vaping also give it room to adapt if your vaping preferences change.
The OXVA XLIM 4 Pod Kit is £18.99 at VapeSites.
For that price, you get the 1600mAh device, a 2ml UNITECH 3.0 pod and USB-C charging cable. The cross-compatible XLIM pod platform also makes it a practical option for anyone who already uses compatible OXVA XLIM pods.
Yes. The three-level power system is easier to understand than a full variable-wattage menu. You can also adjust the airflow as you become more familiar with the device.
It uses compatible OXVA XLIM Top Fill pods across the normal XLIM range. The kit comes with a 0.8Ω UNITECH 3.0 pod.
The UK kit includes one 2ml 0.8Ω XLIM Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 cartridge pre-installed.
It can produce up to 30W and offers three selectable power levels rather than detailed wattage adjustment.
It has a 1600mAh built-in rechargeable battery.
Yes. Nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids are well suited to its higher-resistance MTL pods. Match the nicotine strength to your needs.
Both. Higher-resistance pods suit MTL vaping, while lower-resistance options such as 0.4Ω provide a more open RDL vape.
No. It uses a Ring Light to communicate basic device information instead of a screen.
OXVA states that its enlarged wicking area allows full saturation in around 30 seconds.
It depends on what you want. The XLIM 4 offers a 1600mAh battery and simpler three-level power control. The Pro 3 has a screen and finer wattage adjustment.
